What it costs, before you call.
The fees are published here, plainly, so you can weigh up the practical cost in your own time instead of finding out at the front desk.
Including what you are actually paying for.

The fees
Here is what it costs.
Nothing is bundled, and nothing is sold in advance. Each visit is paid for at the time.
Cold laser is a private service and health funds do not currently provide a rebate for it.
We would rather you knew that here than at the counter. What you see is what you pay, and the first consultation is a chance to find out whether this suits you before you go any further.
There are no lock-in plans. Fees are current as at August 2026 and are reviewed periodically.

What it covers
What the fee actually buys.
An assessment and a conversation with Dr Sam Johnson (Chiropractor). It buys his time and an honest read of your situation. It does not buy a result, and no result is promised here or anywhere else on this site.
He takes your history and assesses you
What is bothering you, how long it has been going on, what you have already tried, and what he finds when he looks at it properly.
He gives you a straight answer
Whether cold laser may be a reasonable option for what you have, what the research does and does not show, and whether something else would suit you better. If the honest answer is that this is not the right tool for your problem, that is the answer you will get.
You decide what happens next
Nothing is committed to in advance. Where possible, treatment is provided on your first visit.* Whether anything follows is worked out with you, not set by this page.
All care is provided subject to clinical assessment and individual suitability. Individual responses to treatment vary.
No lock-in
What you are committing to.
The initial consultation. That is the whole commitment.
That first visit works in both directions. You get to see whether cold laser is a reasonable option for what you have, and whether this practice suits you. Dr Sam Johnson works out whether it is the right tool for your situation at all, and if something else would suit you better, he will tell you and point you toward it.
What follows depends on what he finds and on what you want from it. Some people come in about one recent problem, and that is the whole of it. Others are managing something long-standing, where the aim is to work on the underlying contributing factors over time. If it makes sense to continue, he will talk you through what he considers the most appropriate approach for your presentation, and why.
You are free to say that it does not fit your budget or your week. If that happens, the two of you work out what does, with an honest account of the trade-offs rather than letting you assume there are none.
There are no packages, no prepaid bundles and no lock-in plans. Each visit is paid for at the time. Progress is reviewed regularly, and care continues only while it is justified by how you are responding.
A plan sold in advance asks you to commit before either of us knows whether this is even relevant to your problem. Publishing the fee instead means you can weigh it up before you call, and stop whenever you want to.
An explanation of how fees work here, not a clinical statement.

Before you book
The questions the fees usually raise.
Can I claim this through my private health fund?
No. Cold laser is a private service and health funds do not currently provide a rebate for it. That is exactly why the fees are published on this page rather than explained to you at the counter after the fact.
What am I committing to?
The initial consultation, and nothing beyond it. There are no packages, no prepaid bundles and no lock-in plans. Whether anything continues is worked out with you after the assessment, and the decision is always yours. Individual responses vary.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book an initial consultation directly. If what you describe looks like it belongs with your GP, your dentist or another practitioner, Dr Sam Johnson (Chiropractor) will tell you that rather than book you in anyway.
What if cold laser turns out not to suit me?
Then you will be told so, at the consultation, along with what might fit better. Paying for an assessment buys an honest answer about whether this is relevant to your situation. It does not buy an outcome. Cold laser is not suitable for everyone, and individual responses vary.
Are these fees current?
They are current as at August 2026 and are reviewed periodically. If a practical payment detail would change your decision, call and ask before you book rather than relying on a screenshot or a third-party listing.
Ready when you are
Now you know the number.
If the cost works for you, the next step is having the problem actually looked at. We will tell you whether cold laser may be a reasonable option for you, and if it is not, we will say so. Where possible, treatment is provided on your first visit.* The decision is always yours.
